Tax Resolution Associate Wendy Eisenshtadt
Michigan Tax Attorney Wendy Eisenshtadt was born and raised in Michigan and grew up in West Bloomfield township. Even in her formative years, she was an excellent student. She graduated with honors from West Bloomfield High School and went on to study at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Upon graduating from UofM with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, she moved to sunny San Diego to pursue a law degree at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Her focus was on Entertainment Law.
In the summertime while she was in law school, Wendy lived in Los Angeles and completed an internship with Paradigm Talent Agency which was still considered to be a boutique agency at the time. After graduation and admittance to the California bar she moved to Los Angeles and worked at William Morris (now William Morris-Endeavor) in TV business affairs assisting the agency in selling television shows to networks.
In 2009, she moved back to Michigan to be closer to family and was admitted to the Michigan bar in 2010. It was then that she found her new law passion: a passion for tax law. She worked as a tax attorney at other tax law firms as a tax attorney. While there she learned how to facilitate Offers in Compromise, negotiate with the IRS to lessen her clients’ tax debts, got her clients on installment agreements, helped clients with their overseas tax issues, just to name a few.
She currently resides in Bloomfield Hills with her adorable 3 year-old daughter and when asked why she wanted to become a lawyer, Wendy said “I wanted to be part of a system that helps individuals, groups, and organizations with their legal problems and further the public good.” She cites Ruthe Bader Ginsberg as one of her legal role models and loves to listen to hip-hop and rap (a fact that surprises most people) and read a good book in her free time. Wendy’s personal motto is “You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.”
